Parent and Educator Workshops

Are you a teacher or special education department member who would like to know more about how to work with children with special needs?  Are you a parent who would like to engage more with your school on topics related to special education?  Let us share our knowledge with you!

We love to give schools and parent groups workshops on topics such as the following:

• Self-regulation for children

• Fine motor skill development techniques

• Handwriting strategies

• Identifying language delays and social communication delays

• Special dietary recommendations for kids with autism

• Typical and atypical fine motor and sensory development, with the goal of enabling a child with challenges to be identified as early as possible

• Facilitating development of fine motor and communication skills

• Facilitating peer interaction and play

• Supporting children who need help with regulation of sensory information
