IT's TIME TO GET...
PRE-ACADEMIC skills
what are PRE-ACADEMIC skills?

Children entering Kindergarten need to be able to follow directions, focus their physical and mental attention during classroom instruction time, and start to understand how to work with their peers. It's vital that incoming Kindergarten students have mastery of numbers, shapes, and the alphabet to help them learn how to read, write, and solve problems.

These skills set the foundation for children to reach their full potential in school and in life.

Susan Dambroff, our Pre-Academics Video host, uses her years of experience in early childhood education to encourage young viewers to develop or grow an interest in books and reading, and better understand letters, numbers, and shapes. She incorporates music, physical activity, visual cues, and more in to her lessons to make them fun and engaging.
